## Processes

Centreless grinding, cylindrical grinding, hard turning and superfinishing. Straightness to 0.01 mm per 300 mm, roundness to 0.002 mm, surface finish to Ra 0.2 µm.

## Materials

Induction-hardened 42CrMo4, case-hardened 20MnCr5, through-hardened SUJ2, and 316L stainless for corrosion-resistant applications. Hard chrome plating 20–30 µm on request.

## Inspection

Roundness and cylindricity measured on a Taylor Hobson form tester; hardness checked per batch with a calibrated tester.
